Aston Villa have faced a difficult first campaign out of the Premier League and the chances of earning an immediate return to the top-flight now look dead, although Steve Bruce’s side will continue to fight right to the end. There is reason to be cheerful at Villa Park though as the Villains continue to bleed exciting youngsters into the first-team, with 21-year-old Jack Grealish an established part of the set-up whilst 18-year-old Andre Green is making his breakthrough.Last night, Villa secured a 2-0 victory against Bristol City and the match clearly had an affect on teenage ace Green- who took to Twitter to thank the fans and question when the frame of the goal will finally give him a break.
Green has accumulated ten league appearances for Aston Villa since making his Premier League debut last March against Tottenham Hotspur but is still awaiting his first goal for the club, although it can’t be too far off for the young winger.
