One of those is Pablo Fornals, who has struggled for any real game time since the Scotsman’s arrival at London Stadium, as best signified by the fact that he wasn’t even in the squad against Manchester City.
He was only given a chance to get onto the pitch due to Tomas Soucek’s injury, and definitely took it.
Fans have been lauding the 23-year-old for his performance during the 3-2 defeat against Liverpool, backing him to make further impacts for the team.
His biggest moment was, of course, the goal that made the score 2-1, when Declan Rice fizzed a ball into the box, which the Spaniard managed to squeeze past Alisson, before running off in jubilant celebration.
Did he really play for us?! No West Ham fan has managed to name all of these obscure Irons signings….
The substitute has been called “different gravy” by one fan, while another suggested the Hammers have “been calling out for someone with his play”.
The belief now is that, regardless of who is available, Fornals should be starting Premier League matches for West Ham.
He has started just three of the games since Moyes came back, but one fan has suggested he “cannot be ignored anymore”.
With that in mind, it will be interesting to see whether he is given the opportunity to play against Southampton.
Meanwhile, West Ham man replies to good friend’s Instagram post.
