da mrbet: Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has pledged to fight for the starting jersey at White Hart Lane, despite competition from Brad Friedel.

However, Andre Villas-Boas has stated in the press that the new man will have to battle for a place in the Spurs starting XI, after Friedel pulled off a number of excellent saves in the side’s most recent game against Norwich.
Lloris has pledged to put in the required effort to win a place in the team though.
“I will join Tottenham calmly, discovering a new world, another league. I have lots of things to prove there. I will have to work hard,” he is quoted as saying in The Daily Mail.
“All that is positive and I am going to get to know my new team-mates and staff, and I am going to work as well as I can.
“There are a lot of things for me to prove. I am going to strive for success. Today, I have a status – I have the France captain’s armband. It is a mark of trust and respect,” he concluded.
It remains to be seen who will get the nod in Tottenham’s next game against Reading this weekend.
