da brdice: According to Football Insider, Tottenham Hotspur have made an £8m bid for Leeds United youngster Jack Clarke.
The 18-year-old scored twice and provided two assists in 24 Championship appearances for Leeds during the 2018-19 campaign.
The winger has a contract at Elland Road until the summer of 2021.
However, according to Football Insider, Spurs have stepped up their attempts to sign the teenager by offering £8m.
The London club’s fans, though, are not confident of securing a deal at that price.
Indeed, a number have taken to social media to criticise club chairman Daniel Levy, who is known as a tough negotiator.
There is no smoke without fire and Tottenham appear to be fairly confident of securing a deal for Clarke in this summer’s transfer window.

However, it is difficult to imagine that Leeds will accept £8m when considering the potential that the teenager has already shown in the second tier.
